Services

I currently provide virtual individual therapy services for adults 18+ in Chicago and throughout the state of Illinois.

Many people seek therapy during times of uncertainty, stress, or transition. Below are some of the areas I most frequently support clients with:

Anxiety & OCD Therapy

  • I specialize in working with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive related concerns. I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, and specific phobias. Together, we work to gradually face fears, reduce avoidance patterns, and build confidence in navigating uncertainty and distress.

Trauma Therapy

  • I provide trauma-informed care for individuals who have experienced overwhelming or distressing events. My work draws from evidence-based approaches, including Prolonged Exposure (PE), to help clients process traumatic memories, reduce avoidance, and reconnect with parts of life that may feel restricted by past experiences. Our work moves at a pace that feels safe and collaborative.

Perinatal Mental Health

  • I support individuals as they navigate the emotional and psychological changes that can arise during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. I am currently working toward Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) and work with concerns such as perinatal anxiety and OCD, fertility challenges, miscarriage and loss, adjustment to parenthood, identity shifts, and the many emotional complexities that can accompany this stage of life.

Navigating Life Transitions

  • Major life transitions can bring uncertainty, stress, and shifts in identity. I work with clients navigating transitions such as career changes, becoming a parent, relocation, relationship changes, and other periods of adjustment, helping them reconnect with their values and move forward with greater clarity and intention changes.

Processing Grief & Loss

  • Grief can arise from many types of loss, whether the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a role, or a life chapter. Therapy can offer a space to process complex emotions, honor the significance of what has been lost, and gradually make room for healing and meaning moving forward.

Candles on Wooden Floor

In my previous role, I was the Director of DBT Training and Supervision at a large group practice. I have also provided clinical supervision to graduate students, advanced CBT fellows, and staff therapists. Currently, I offer individual and small-group consultation services, with rates available upon request.

I offer 8-week Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) groups both virtually and in-person in Chicago. These groups are designed to help participants cultivate greater self-kindness, emotional resilience, and practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. Please reach out to inquire about upcoming offerings — I’d love to share more.

In addition to group work, I am deeply committed to supporting and educating clinicians in the thoughtful use of evidence-based practices. As an adjunct faculty at Northwestern University, I teach Group Therapy and Counseling Techniques to graduate students in the MA Clinical Psychology program.

I also provide trainings for clinicians across Chicago on topics including anxiety and OCD, Mindful Self-Compassion, and both introductory and advanced Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
